Simply Stunning

My second layout for August is again all about flowers.
A soft layout with a hand made lace flower and brooch for the center for a really special page.
Yes that is me in the photo some 37 years ago. How time flies.

This features birds on a wire and our mini grunge clock

For Ever ~ Sally McIntyre

August Reveal from Sally McIntyre
This month has been a month for flowers and chipboard,My first layout is one of my
beautiful grand daughter Maddy, who will visit from Canada before my next post. I have so enjoyed the bright colors and  dimension .

I had fun distressing the edges of the card stock aound the edges of the  top layer, adding a dark mat and hot pink mat. I used the tyre tack stencil to add an effect on the paper ,with white texture paste

I used raw chipboard on this page,it just seemed to suit .

I used the 6 inch clock  for this page.
I added S0276 FLOURISH

and the word forever

August reveal with Alicia Barry

Today I have a number of projects to share with you, starting with some Father's Day cards since the day is coming up in just a few weeks.

Father's Day cards
I have combined Heartfelt Creations papers with lots of cog pieces arranged together. To dress the chipboard, I started with ink for colour first, then sprinkled a combination of colours of Metallic Melts embossing powder, which, when heated, blend together beautifully. I used similar colours of powder in each of my cards, but a different ink as the base.

I Said So Girls Memory Maze Chipboard ~ Donna O'leary

Hello and welcome back to Memory maze,  Donna here today to share a project that I created.

TIME IS PRECIOUS...... WASTE IT WISELY

I have had this Tim holtz clock for a while and knew I wanted to do something special with it.

There was a lot of prep work for this project.  I covered the entire clock with a mixture of mixed media projects and then embossed it using a mask and wow embossing powders.

I added more embossing powders to areas for highlight. To finish the outer shell I added some more distress paint to give it that vintage look.

For the inside of my clock I tissue papered and then sprayed with lindy's gang sprays.  added some fussy cutting to build a  scene.  I have used Memory maze chipboard birds and embossed them.  I love how you can change the look of chipboard by added embossing powder.

These lovely little memory maze girls have been embossed and added to the scene with some foam dots.  Once my scene was complete I added some flowers and a wee saying.  To me one of the girls is telling something to the other,  so I found the quote "  Time is precious, waste it wisely"

Some more close ups....
